Before being elected as President in 2007, Luigi Campitelli was already an active member of the Board of Directors representing the Italian BIC network (BIC ItaliaNet).

As quoted by his successor, Mr Campitelli’s presidency was marked by his propensity to be listening to  the whole BIC Community’s expectations with respect to each one’s cultural, territorial and human specificities, always trying to reach a consensus in the most efficient way without compromising any potential “good opportunity” for the network to achieve the goals that had been set.

Luigi Campitelli declared during EBN’s General Assembly in Burgos that he had one regret: not to have realized all the actions he had planned for his mandate, being maybe too demanding as would be a father with his children, always wanting the best for and from them.  But that nevertheless he had had the occasion to manage this well-performing network and was proud to have been part of this journey.

He also declared that he was totally confident in his successor’s ability to take over the leadership for the next months to come as Joe Greaney had already demonstrated through his different missions a clear talent at disseminating the EBN network’s excellence to key players in the world of business development and innovation.
