The most influential from the world of science, society and policy will assemble in Dublin this week (from 11 to 15 July)  for the largest open forum of its kind. This important gathering will provide a platform for debate, for influencing policy and strengthening the links between science and society. The Euroscience Open Forum (ESOF) is Europe’s largest, general science meeting and is held in a leading Europe city every two years.

In advance of the Euroscience Open Forum, government officials and research park and technology incubator executives will join the Association of University Research Parks (AURP) and the National Business Incubation Association (NBIA) for an executive forum on "Innovation Engines in an Era of Constraint."
Experts who plan, build and operate global university research parks and technology incubators will illustrate how they've created economic growth in their communities and how you can leverage your unique strengths to create your own Community of Innovation.

On the 14th of July and in the framework of ESOF 2012, Dublin BIC will organise a session providing entrepreneurs or would-be entrepreneurs with a taste of what it is like in the real world to secure investment funding.  An international panel of investors will
discuss different financing options available to entrepreneurs and share their views on what they are looking for in new business ideas.
