The EBN Network Board of Directors and Executive team express its solidarity for the staff, management and friends of Fondazione IDIS-Citta della Scienza, the founder organization behind the Campania Innovazione BIC, for the tragic fire which destroyed their emblematic facilities in Naples last Monday.

We have all been shocked by the images relayed by the Italian press yesterday(http://www.corriere.it/cronache/13_marzo_04/napoli-incendio-citta-scienza-italsider_48ff55f8-851e-11e2-aa8d-3398754b6ac0.shtml).

EBN members, partners  and friends have a particular thought and share a moral support to the Citta della Scienza initiative who aimed at promoting the scientific and innovation culture as a key-tool to revitalize the South of Italy industrial decline and to prepare this fascinating territory to truly enter a civil Society based on knowledge, innovation and entrepreneurship.

The annual EBN congress who precisely took place in June 2006 in this exceptional infrastructure  and inspiring place was one of the best experience and performance of our Network.

At a moment when we are precisely preparing our next annual congress, EBN wishes to extend a resolve to support  Citta della Scienza in this difficult time.
